Named after the Buddhism expressions and branches ZEN and TAO, based on the observation on nature, Zao make up was created in 2012 by 4 friends, convinced that a line of makeup must use natural packaging, whilst wishing to incorporate the graceful bamboo plant.
Bamboo makes up the identify of the Zao brand, with its rich ingredients making up the makeup itself, and the packaging being made from the carbon-capturing plant, which in turn allows Zao products to contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
Certified organic, vegan and cruelty-free, the make up range is designed to come in the most minimal amount of plastic packaging as currently possible to remain in line with health & safety regulations in the beauty industry.
